I can only offer this advice uncle Tom. If you don't like the quality and are disgusted with it you ship it to me and I'll cover the shipping. It's the least I could do.

I have read on other boards both good and bad. I can't remember the seller, they advertise they will pay $20 for cores, but someone bought one and the metal on the underside was all rusty. The buyer was afraid it would continue and effect the vinyl. The only appearance complaint I read was the grain was not as pronounced as stock and the padding was tighter(stiffer), but to a non Mopar owner, you wouldn't know. I remember reading that the grain is different between 71/72 and 73/74, so maybe that came into play. There was also a complaint about the corners at the speaker grill being deformed. Possibly a different pad maker?

I was looking at www.dashes4u.com/. I cant remember exactly how much they were, but they were around the $300 - $400 range.

Right now, I am kind of leaning towards giving Carolina a try. I am a bit leery of the PG pad. BE&A was selling the PG pad...and the owner conveniently would not answer questions about some concerns expressed about the pads on Moparts.....Then I noticed B/E&A stopped selling the part.....
In addition to that, PG has never answered a single question or concern that I have had about their products. I really do not want to get in a situation where I have to ship the pad back to Canada, to "maybe" get a refund.
The Carolina pad also has a 30 day money back guarantee, with a 2 year warranty.
I used to have a new ultimate rides pad....but ended up swapping/selling that a few years ago. It seemed OK, but you really don't know for sure, until you install. It too seemed harder than original, but that is not a large concern for me. I am more concerned about how well the vinyl is bonded... and whether the gauges, wood grain panel, map light etc etc will fit well.

It's kind of funny that Carolina will pay a whopping $20 for a core. Shipping them a core pad would cost more than $20........ Either way, I found some positive comments about Carolina and will go ahead and get one of their pads in the near future.

Hey Tom, I ran into Carolina Super Dash last year at Chryslers at Carlisle. IMO, they're dash pads are beautiful, as mentioned, a little "harder" than original, but very nice. I'm assuming they are going to be there again this year, and I saw in the other thread that you were thinking about going also. You could probably contact them and make sure they are bringing the exact dash you want (color etc.). That way you can see for yourself if it's what you want, and probably save some shipping too.

I know it may sound stupid...but I am thinking about attempting to re-skin one myself.
As far as I can tell, Just Dashes is the only place that uses a thermo-vacuum process. I think everybody else basically stretches and glues new vinyl down. That certainly was my impression of the Ultimate Rides pad that I used to own. I probably could repair any foam damage and glue some vinyl down. Really don't have much to lose in trying.
