U-Haul even thought about the beer belly! The entire drivers side fender on the trailer unlatches (rubber hood latches like on the big truck hoods), and the whole fender pivots out and down, thus revealing a mounted step!! You just step out on the step, then walk off of the trailer using the top of it's tires!! Pretty cool, actually, and you don't have to leave a window on the Charger open after you climbed out through it!! Then you just "close" the fender back up and latch it! AMAZING!! Oh yeah, about the U-Haul trailer. I probably should mention that it weighs 2000 pounds and when you add that to the Charger weight (which I THINK is a little over 4000 pounds), you kinda have to fudge a little bit during the rental paperwork process. I told her the car weighed 3900 because the max gross for the trailer is 6000, just like the little number stamped on top of my 2" ball!! OOPS!! [Incidentally, the weight balance was perfect, it pulled just fine, and it loaded and unloaded well, even though the collectors on the headers hang WAAAAAY down...I think they are well below the K-frame!] The hitch on my truck didn't mind (Class III, IV?), and as you can see, the F-250 didn't even "dip" from the weight, but nevertheless I WAS pushing the edge of the Gross Max for the trailer...but that's just me...living on the edge... I found it interesting that the GVWR on my 5th Wheel Travel Trailer is only 700 pounds more than the UHaul trailer and Charger--6700 pounds. Man what massive beasts our little b-bodies are, huh? Sorry I didn't wash it for you guys prior to pics...what was I thinking? Sometimes I can be SOOOO inconsiderate! #doh# thanks for all the great comments guys...I'm grateful that you all feel like I do, and your congrats are appreciated! Ya'll will be the first to know should I part either one of them out!! Jer.
