could very well be primary shaft is loose due to wear. very common you may need to have the shafts bushed

Switched the carb last evening and no more whistle. I kinda liked it. Made the girls turn around.

I put another TQ on that I had. I have 4 now and I know that 2 need work. The one I just took off was great until that whistling thing. Tom had purchased it as a rebuild a few years back and brought it up on his first trip. I did get a lot of use out of it. I miss the whistling

I put another TQ on that I had. I have 4 now and I know that 2 need work. The one I just took off was great until that whistling thing. Tom had purchased it as a rebuild a few years back and brought it up on his first trip. I did get a lot of use out of it. I miss the whistling I'm looking for a 6321s or 6342s iffin' ya know where there is one.
