I am really happy with the response I've received. I owned the car in question for many years,it is a numbers matching vehicle with original sheetmetal, and I would like to hear from other people who own 440-Charger Coupes from 1974....too bad these cars weren't available with 4-speeds, as were the 400-engine Chargers...Patrick

You have any pictures of the car to put in the "Member's Chargers" section? To post them though, you will need a Photobucket account or something simular. Otherwise, I will gladly post them for you if they are way big (I'll downsize them too).

Thanks Tom! I updated the chart. Let me know if you have any other tidbits to add to it!
Feel free to use the chart as you see fit Pete - if you think it will be of service.
Lookin forward to pics of that 74 Patrick!

Hi I'd like to know more about the 1974 Charger Rally. I have one but there is very little info on these cars. They list a 73 rally but not the 74 Rally. Mine is a 400 cid big block & auto. I know there was 105 made, no brake down on how many were big blocks, or small blocks.

I know there was 105 made, no brake down on how many were big blocks, or small blocks. I got looking at the 74 Rallye numbers and they look kind of flaky to me. According to the white book there was 336 Rallye Coupes and 105 Rallye Hardtops. Given that hardtop production was much higher than coupe production, I find those figures hard to believe. The 73 numbers kind of jive with my line of thinking with 985 Rallye Coupes and 6,019 Rallye Hardtops. Not saying that I know more than GG, , just that those numbers seem kind of strange.

Tom Yes with you. I was surprised that there were less Hardtops then sedans in 74? I'm thinking that being a big block is very, very rare. As we all know with the oil chrunch in 74 there were a lot of small blocks made for these cars(318-360's)? Found mine here in Wisconsin setting in a barn since 1985 with just 59000 miles on it. Paided less for it then you would just for the hood and got a 440 and auto trans with the deal. Seen GG numbers in the white book and thought that was strange also, but that is where I got the 105 number from also. Mine is B5 blue with black interior.

I would like to wake up an old thread as this ones been sleeping for some time. Any new information on production numbers of the 74 charger rallye. I have a 360 auto that I have owned since 1980 and always wondered how many where produced. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will try and post pictures later.

Thanks for the info. If I'm reading the chart correctly I have one of 567 cars, how many of those are left is hard to say.
