Great picture. And there is the 80 Aspen RT, which explains your user name.

Thanks Dave, that's actually our 78 Plymouth Super Coupe. It's what's taking up all my time. But i do have an 80 Aspen RT too.

Hmmmmmm...going to have to do something soon for a shelter for the Charger Just today, I noticed that the roof on my portable garage/tent split down the middle and collapsed. I was hoping to get one more year out of it....aint going to happen. Always something!

Doh! How old is that anyway? I had a friend thinking about using one of those for an old Pontiac he was looking at.

Those temporary shelters last usually 2-3 years depending on climate, sunlight etc....We cover them with the tarps as soon as we put them up and they last much longer as we change the tarps after a few years canvas underneath stays dry and mostly weather free....much like a tent has a secondary cover.....the other thing is to spray them down with a water repellant which helps them last....keep out of direct sunlight!

The edges of the roof tend to collect leaves, pine needles, and water. If not cleaned off constantly, it is great for mosquito breeding. The weight of that crud and the sunlight pretty much did it in. While it has served it's purpose, I would like to get rid of it and build something a bit more permanent.
