Today I did nothing we got at least 3 inches of snow. And would you believe last weekend it was above 20 celcius (68 fahrenhiet) and today it is -17 (1) with the wind chill SAME HERE! UGHHH It was over 20 celsius this week and then bam, snow snow snow. I see your from Alberta, I'm from BC so I guess we got the same clouds . Incredibly annoying. Sucks is that my Charger is outside too (no garage ) and I didn't have it covered so when i got up this morning, i felt pretty bad.

I drove 1200 miles, went to 4 junkyards, and only brought home 2 hood releases and a fan shroud for my cars.

Kind of a slow weekend so far for The Jer: I pulled the steering wheel in the 440 "Champ(ion)" car, so I can rebuid the top end of the column so I can steer it as I roll it back out onto the driveway... I bought a complete (right down to the dipstick, AC compressor, alternator, starter, AC compressor, power steering pump) 76 360 motor and 727 tranny--only 500 bucks--for my black 318 "Shadowfax II" car...be driving it into the garage tomorrow for the engine/tranny R&R...now I can take my time rebuilding the 318 and still get to drive the car!!... I pulled the dash cluster from my 66 "Silver (Bullet)" car, preparatory to the new replacement getting here (speedo was pegged at 150, tach was inoperative), fuel gauge wouldn't register full (bought a new sending unit on Ebay as a contingency for that as well)... oh, and washed and dried all three of them, with my new 6 square feet chamois ... Geez, and today's only Saturday!! #washwax# #washwax# Oh, I almost forgot...I also bought another complete 440/727--including headers--that I found for 600 dollars....by Jiminy, I bet I get all the bolts, brackets, and nuts right on the 440 car now, when I reassemble it...always helps to have a "template" to build by!! Other than that, I didn't get much accomplished...I'm an old guy, ya know? [Can someone tell me who these 3 Sgt. Shulz wannabees are down here below me?... do they know anything about Chargers?...they look kind of scary to me!!]

I spent the weekend inhaling bondo dust. MMMMMM...Yum...bondo dust....my fave!! Today: Went to church, finished cleaning organizing the garage...washed the 00 Durango, the 80 Ford 4x4, the black 318 Charger, the silver/black 66 Charger...AGAIN!! (my upwind neighbor chose yesterday evening to rip up his driveway with a Bobcat and covered all of my cars with dust!!) Put a steering wheel on the blue 440 car, rolled it to the east wall side of the garage...took it off the tire skates, pushed it out onto the driveway. Drove the 318 car up into the garage, put IT on tire skates....rolled IT over to the east side of the garage. Drove the 66 up into the west side of the garage. Washed the blue 440 car, sealed the passenger window (no power window motor/bracket for the front yet)...put a car cover on it. Went to the ATM, paid 4 storage units and a covered storage for the RV, bought groceries. Drove over and gave the seller of the 76 Dodge Motorhome chassis (including the complete 360/727 and one ton dually rear end with wheels!!) the rest of his 500 dollars, then met a guy at WalMart that I bought a phone system from for my office...he had it listed on Craigslist. Repaired and adjusted 5 of the supposedly automatic sprinklers, cooked dinner and did 2 loads of laundry... And most importantly....finally got to spend some time on the computer...so all in all: KIND OF A SLOW DAY AND WEEKEND!!...you will notice that almost everything I did this weekend was Charger Related...funny how that happens!! Glad Monday's finally here, so I can get some rest!!...I'm not QUITE as young as I used to be...almost, but not quite.

Hey Jer, I would mail you some bondo dust, but they might lock down the post office and think it's a terrorist threat.
