All, Been gathering information on early power sunroof Mopars ever since I liberated a 1971 Sebring Plus with the factory hole in the roof out of a salvage yard north of town in 2012. Ever since then, I have been looking into the history and the production numbers of this option. At the time, the cost of the factory sunroof ($450ish) was 2nd only to checking off the box next to the Hemi ($700ish). Here are the 1971/72 cars that I have come across so far. I will update these pamphlets occasionally as I come across new cars. I have also posted 69-72 cars over on DC.com, and 70 cars over at the 1970chargerregistry page. Enjoy! Scott.

Hi, Looks like you are taking on quite a project with the sunroof cars and I wondered if you were aware that a seller by the avatar of recharged sells owners manuals for the 71-2 cars and the allen wrench to emergency close the 71-2 cars. I also own a 74 Se with sunroof and since I currently have the whole panel out I can provide you with pics of anything you might want. It would help having all the info available in one place. Mine has really good seals and interior garnishes for examples of what should be there on often missing parts. I also have a extra handle and bezel for manual sunroof cars if someone is missing that. There is someone who sells some of the seals but I misplaced that info. It's a neat option to have and to drive with.

Thanks 1ol72charger4me! I have run across recharged before and have a digital copy of the owners manual somewhere. I am currently working on 70-72 challengers, and when I finish that up, I am going to start documenting the 73-74 sunroof cars. If you don't mind taking a few pictures of your disassembly and re-assembly, I am sure all the sunroof owners on this site would love to see them. Maybe start a thread right here on 71-74charger. I think someone with a power sunroof setup did the same thing on one of the C-Body websites. Thanks for sharing! Scott.

Looks like a hard luck project like my sunroof car. Definitely cool that you are going to bring this one back from the dead! They didn't make very many factory sunroof cars - so save 'em if you got 'em. Scott.
