What are your opinion about Year One or PG Classic N96 kits? Are they worth of money? Has anyone tried these?
I am very interesting about them...

That kit is missing the vacuum reservoir, and also the decal for the air grabber itself Just trying to be a smart-a**! I like it! All in a kit. Whats it cost?

It's a lot of $$$...and it's reproduction parts, which frequently miss the mark in both fitment and quality. I would post up questions on every major Mopar site asking for feedback on the parts, before dropping that kind of money.
And if I did buy....I would buy on eBay with a credit card, for maximum buyer protection. You also would want to be in a position to verify the parts fit and function immediately. In other words....Don't put them in the closet for 2 years, to find out later that they fit horribly.
I have literally wasted thousands of dollars on poorly made reproduction parts in the last 10 years. To say that I am tired of being a guinea pig is an understatement. The Ram Charger kit is something I might be interested in if I absolutely felt confident in the quality of the parts. However, at this time...I am not willing to roll the dice at that price.

Thanks for your answers.
Kit is 1500$ in PG Classic's web shop, cheaper than Ebay. I think switch is different in 72 than kit's switch. I sent email to PG, but haven't got the answer...
Btw I just got fender front moldings from PG and they were very nice, both front and rear.

In other words....Don't put them in the closet for 2 years, to find out later that they fit horribly. This is something the boss and I were talking about the other day. It seems like the trend lately is to get a part "out there" and sell it, knowing it has problems, but banking on the fact that 80-85% of the parts are going on the shelf or in the closet to be put on years later or never. Look at the number of projects that are sold with a bunch of never installed parts or parts hoards that are sold off. He is actually assembling his Cuda as he restores it and has been amazed at the range of quality in new parts. Price doesn't even seem to be a indicator as some of the cheaper stuff is quite good, yet he bought a set of rear window louvers that were pricey, American made and were so crappy it was hard to fathom. I think there is more money wasted on this hobby than you would imagine. I've done it myself. I think Tom's advice is one to follow. Cover your a** when buying parts and at least examine them for fit and quality before shelving them. I'd just add that expecting good service out of PG classics is probably not going to happen as their track record is horrible.

I'd just add that expecting good service out of PG classics is probably not going to happen as their track record is horrible. Correct....they burned thru one eBay user ID due to lousy customer service and bad feedback. Now they are back with a new ID. Anytime I have had questions about items for sale or issues with purchases from them.....the have NEVER responded. I once asked them every single day for a month and a half... if their B body 4 speed rod set was for a console or non-console car. Never got a answer. You might call B/E&A which is basically an American distributor of PG's parts. They can likely give some insight as to the quality of those parts. B/E&A has a much better reputation and I believe that they sometimes stop carrying PG's products that turn out to be inferior. For what it is worth, I don't see the full kit, just some pieces on the B/E&A website......

If the door handles they made are an indication of quality then this is not worth the money.
