SOLD for $185,000.00. 4:08 pm - '70 AAR 'Cuda.... SOLD for $140,000.00. 4:10 pm - '71 Charger R/T, Hemi, Sunroof, Loaded, highest optioned one known to exist?...got to $375,000.00, but did not sell..."the bid goes on"...as Mecum likes to say. 4:14pm - '71 Charger R/T Hemi Pilot Car.... SOLD for $215,000.00. 4:16pm - '69 Daytona, 440, 4 speed... SOLD for $280,000.00. 4:19pm - '71 Charger Super Bee, Hemi, Automatic... SOLD for $190,000.00. 4:23pm - '71 Charger Super Bee, Hemi, Automatic, VIN sequence number follows the previous car...came off the line together...SOLD for $190,000.00. These two consecutive VIN cars went to the same bidder! 4:29pm - '71 Charger R/T, Hemi, purple with white top and interior, only one known to exist... SOLD for %225,000.00. 4:30pm - '71 Chager R/T, Hemi, Jamaica Blue, loeaded, 1 of 1...got to $200,000.00, Mrs. Wellborn wants to keep it, does not sell for record money, and she is clapping and smiling...gets to keep "her" car. 4:34pm - '69 Charger 500, Hemi....SOLD for $135,000.00. 4:36pm - '71 Charger Super Bee, Hemi, Motor Trend test car in butterscotch... I could auction my two but I probably wouldn't make enough to even cover the auction fee's on one of those babies!

Just have to wait and see what he fills it up with Be patient Grasshopper Regardless of what the article says, I am not necessarily buying into the idea that the cars were really sold to buy new inventory for the Museum. Even if that turns out to be true.... what could be better than the cars that were sold? Maybe some Chevelles and Mustangs? A person putting millions of dollars of cars on the market at once is bound to raise questions and eyebrows. They may not necessarily find it in their best interest to fully divulge their real reasons for selling.
