I have a 1974 Charger SE that I have owned for almost 40 years, when I run the a/c I get water leaking onto the floor mat of the passenger side. I know there is supposedly a drain for this but have not ever found it. The car still does partially drains outside so I am not getting all the water inside but would like to fix the problem. Thanks for your help you can provide.

I have a 73. There are drains but it looks as if my sweats from time to time. I'll be interested to see what some of the other fellows say.

That normally is a plugged drain. Drain is on passenger side, lower firewall, under hood. I hijacked a picture of Bobs car to illustrate where the drain is. There may be a 90 degree rubber elbow over the drain end.

I will have to check into that when it warms up and I get my a/c repaired. By your picture it looks like it is just on the other side of the firewall from where it drips. It drips off the bottom edge of the box under the dash on passenger side. Should I try blowing thru the rubber hose with low pressure air or should I try to gently poke something thru the hole and check for an obstruction?

I don't remember ever seeing that hose, I may have to go uncover the car and see if I can see it there, if its not there, that could be part of the problem as well. Thank You for your help Tom!!! as for the ebay link, wow they think a lot of that rubber piece price wise don't they lol.

odzking, thanks for the additional info, I stomped thru the snow this morning to the garage and removed my car cover to take a look under the hood, I found that I had this hose still attached until I touched it and it crumbled in my hand. It was very hard and brittle and could be part of the cause that water wasn't passing thru it. So now I need a new one and per your suggestion will not be paying the ebay $40 price for it. Thanks for your advice, I will either buy it from your link you provided or go to my local dealer. THANKS AGAIN!

I picked up the drain tube from Rosevillemoparts.com for $8 last fall. Had it shipped with some other parts so don't know what the shipping would be for just that 1 part.
