Heads are the same. At least valve size is. Cam size I would think would be different. Maybe Nacho would know or one of the I her very knowledgeable people on this site.

L coded 360 had dual valve springs, 340 cam, minor rejetted carb, dual row timing chain and windage tray. Similar to E58 motor. Thats about it besides dual exhaust and a usual 3:23 gear. Same exhaust manifolds, same intake if automatic. Manual, no EGR valve, all j coded 360s had CA emissions. Supposedly but not proven all 360 4 barrels had 340 cam. Performance wise other than a free windage tray, no significant advantage that won't be addressed in the average rebuild. I'm sure you know but A bodies only has a great bunch of small block guys that are helpful and build some great motors. If you are using that stock intake, which is good, plug the EGR ports and leave the EGR on there for looks. They are a headache and performance robber.

I didn't think there was going to be much of a change since they were both 4 barrel motors. John
