a friend of mine wants to install a Go wing on his car. I know we have talked about this ( sponsored by BOB )... are actually the Mustang go wings same dimiensions than those overpriced "mopar repro Chrysler licensed" wings ?
what are the differencdes? It seems the pedestals shape are kinda diff shape, but what about dimmensions ( wing itself and pedestals width position )

I can tell you from experience... that the Mustang wing and some of the cheaper "Go wings" out there have a narrower distance between the pedestals. The chrysler spoilers have a wider stance from pedestal to pedestal.

I used the same locations in my trunk lid to mount the mustang wing. It was about 1/8th difference on each side. I forget the dimensions length and width.

The repro Go-wing that the customer bought and had me install was about an inch or so narrower than the factory 71 up style wing. I had to move the trunk mounting brackets inboard quite a lot from the factory locations.

One is to narrow, RS2 and one fits just about right RS1. For the RS1 I used the same trunk holes as the go-wing. Read this thread. wichargerguy.proboards.com/thread/10433/rear-spoilers

Well, I don't know which spoiler part number that the customer bought. He gave the spoiler to me with out a box.

actually is for a Dart's friend, but per FPAP website all PNs are the same for any Mopar body but the reinforcement bracket ( of course, diff deck lid frame shapes ). So I guess all Mopars got same width. Will check on this later, have to go to job.
