As the owner of this forum for coming up on seven years now (Feb 2009)I was feeling pretty proud and cocky when I noticed we now have 1875 members.
And we actually deleted A LOT of members a while back, those that hadn't logged on for 3 years or more.
AND THEN: I joined the Turbo Diesel Registry, as I need some tech information for doing an injector job (all 6 replacement) on my 03 Ram 3500.
That particular forum has over 50,900 members....ouch ! Kind of a humbling moment for Ol' Jer.
And then, just to pour salt on the wound, I saw a "stat" showing that their "most users online" was a whopping 3,000 plus.....AT ONE TIME !!
I wonder if ol' DynoDave wants to help round up all 1875 of our members and convince them all to logon at one time.....um, probably not.
Anyway, I'm proud of our little forum, and--though I never say it--there isn't a day goes by that I'm not thankful for it and for all of great members, especially our daily--or almost daily--posters.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU, and a big, big thanks to Tom and Dave, who actually do most of the daily moderator grunt work. Jer.

It IS a great forum, Jer, and I wish I had known about it 6 years ago...it would have saved me a lot of hard earned lessons.
The really cool thing that I most like about it is the fact that it IS a small forum, devoted strictly to our generation of Chargers. I dont have to sift through a lot of topics and threads to find what I'm looking for that relates to my 71.
I also really like the general mood or maybe atmosphere or ambience would be a better term. Everyone seems to get along well, their polite to each other, and there isnt all that back-biting and oral jousting that seems to be all over the internet. Some of those forums seem to be loaded with people just waiting for their chance to show how much they think they know by jumping all over other members.
Anyway, I for one thank you for the forum, and for the treasure house of info that I've already taken from it.
And like Al Pacino says, "I'm just gettin' started" !

Yeah, I'll volunteer to moderator a forum this size, but there's no way I'd touch some of these larger ones.

Yup. Its a great forum dedicated to third generation. It cuts through the clutter. I think its a strange phenomena that these cars seem to be an underdog. These cars are different and look so cool compared to many other popular classics. It doesnt make sense that it would sit in the shadow of its previous model. I admit it though, I was cought up in the beauty of my 68. There was nothing else to want (in my mind) I feel more people have become awakened to the gen 3 charger. As cars get more expensive and harder to find, their search brings them to a gem like this. Forums like this help us all along the way ( members and passers-by traffic). The knowledge and experience here is unmatched. When an internet search brings up a forum like this, it shows potential parts manufacturers that there may be something worth making.
The best part of owning one of these is that you dont see them around to often. (Hardly ever around here). They get lots of positive feedback. Go to a show and your not likely to see 5 or six lined up like you would a Camaro or Mustang etc.
Ok, lots hot air here. The forum is huge for something thats small.
