I would say its value would be around 20-25k when all done. Especially if the body work is done nicely so it doesn't show any flaws in the paint job.

Thankyou the body is rust free and I take as much time to make a car is straight. Not worth painting a car unless the body is straight. It makes me crazy when I see a good paint job over bad body work

rebodying is a touchy subject, personally I wouldn't touch it,its not a real rallye car....so value in my opinion would be very low

Sounds like this car in question is worth a couple years in prison.
You can't just take the VIN out of one car and stick it in/on a rust free donor body. That is illegal in all 50 states

I was wondering when someone was going to comment on that, Tom. The VIN is not only on the dash (or door panel or pillar post), but also usually 2 to 5 other locations on a vehicle, most of them secret. Even on our cars, besides the radiator core support and under the front cowling, it is also in 2 other lesser known places.
And you're right, but let me add that it is also a federal matter (DOT,etc.) when VINS begin to get monkeyed around with...and those guys are good, even down to what style of rivet is used to secure a VIN plate, and where the other VINs are stamped at the factory for each make and model (they have books).
It's not impossible to "re-body" a car, but there are quite few hoops that have to be jumped through with several agencies (state and federal), forms to be filled out, and documentation provided for any major parts on donor(s), recipient(s), and of course the body itself is a major part.
You could find yourself going to the slammer for running a chop shop, amongst other charges, if you don't dot all the i's and cross all the t's in the process, and that would just about cancel out all the money you saved by cutting corners, wouldn't it.

I have been thinking about that my insurance company would catch it when they do my appraisel and take the pics. Besides I like Chargers not charges. The guy has both cars and titles and vins what is areally nice clone worth or if I had both cars there are a lot of fust free body parts also.
