Yep, I see them. But fer cryin' out loud, if I have to do all that work to make it right at $129, I may as well fix the one I have. That mold is pretty rough, ouch!

$129 seems pretty darn cheap to me. Seems to me that just about all fiberglass products require extensive prep work.

Yes Tom, . Most of the fibreglass parts do need a lot of work to make them fit and look correct. Now I haven't seen these Super Bee hood inserts in person but from the pictures it looks thinner than the original and I can't tell how the studs were made into the fibreglass. If the studs/ bolts/threaded inserts are not embedded in a thick amount of fibreglass they will crack or even brake out.

I don't pick at other peoples work unless I'm paying them but that looks like it needs a lot of finish work. It costs you $50 extra for 1 with studs. Just eyeballing it, the sides look uneven and it looks to have finish problems which will take hours to fill and regelcoat to do it right. From him it is not going to be a "rattlecan it and slam it on". He says it will fit any flat hood. And what will that look like. That last thread got me thinking about how cool a RT louver would look in carbon fiber and then you could paint it black for stock use. Somebody make it and I will distribute it. Mark up will be 250% but to my friends, 235. I don't want to build it, that itchy stuff is for the birds.

Based on seller user ID and location , I assume the part is made by Showcars bodyparts unlimited in Canada Looks like the same piece lists for $79 on the Showcars website www.showcars-bodyparts.com/charger.html

$79 is more like it unless you have to spend another $50 for studs. I think $179 is ridiculous for that quality, sorry!
