For the benefit of newer members, I figured that we should have a post about this car here. It was on Ebay a few years ago. If I remember correctly it also had a twin turbo set up on it. If anyone else has additional pics of the car, please post them. #2Thumbs#

I think the idea was ok but I think it looks sad. I like the hood and doors.

MIght have been nice if it had been done better. That front end is pathetic. As for the top, cool idea but hope they put in some sub-frame connectors or that poor car would twist in the wind.

Tom is looking for different pictures of the car. What, you going to make a clone for your son #lol# As far as my son and his car go.....we had a good talk about it a few weeks ago..... At this point, he is not real interested in spending his hard earned $$$ fixing a Charger. He prefers to buy guitars. He would rather just help me workng on mine. Maybe when we get one of mine done, he will feel different.

I like the Targa Idea on a 3rd gen since Roof line gives you the propper shape to that just need to get a good idea about what kind of job does need and everything. Nothing improvised.

Reminds me of the quote from the original Willy Wonka movie: "We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dreams." Also, there was a web page where someone claims to have created a t-top '71 Cuda. He said he used the t-top kit from the 1977-79 Cordoba/Charger. If that's the case, maybe someone could adapt the kit to a 3rd gen Charger if the roof skins are similar. I haven't seen that web page in years, though. Glenn

Apparently the black and red steering wheel cover put the homemade options a little over the top or maybe it just looked tacky, i't looks so much better holding the seat cover on.
