When the factory added resonators, it did so in each tail pipe, either side of the gas tank. Nice, straight, open space.

If you went with 3” pipe you’d probably lose a little hp as unless your running wide open high rpm . That 340 will run better with small tube headers and 2-1/2” pipe for better torque. When I reinstall the headers on mine the plan is TTI headers, 2-1/2”, middle of the pack flow masters but no cross over pipe. Ya I know it gives more hp but it also smooths out that cam chop I like. It’s not going to beat a Hellcat so I’d st least like to make sound like it could.
