Check this place out. Auto Metal Direct. They carry new sheet metal for mopars and others. I looked at the address and hell they are in my backyard! Im wondering if they make the stuff there or its just a warehouse that keeps an inventory. I am going to make my way there to check them out. I may talk to someone about reproducing the charger bulge hood if its a manufacturing facility. I know there is a market for them. I can show where these hoods sell for 500-1000 on ebay regularly. Who here would pay 600 bucks for a new bulge hood? I know I sure would. www.autometaldirect.com

In short, I don't know Dyno. I'll be working on getting that answered by summer. I gotta get my funds up. Here is the EM I got with pics from j gilbert: How's it goin? I came across something a while back and looks like it is going to finally happen.Just got the news today.Thought you and a few others would be interested. Exact reproduction fiberglass power bulge hoods! Ventless, pins or no pins and only weighs about 25 +lbs. These are not made like the cheap motor cycle part f.glass, but quality made hoods. They are as what you see on the new Mustangs.Gel-coated and super sturdy, with steel reinforced fiberglass frames identical to the factory. They are available in the pin-on type or bolt-on as did the factory, the bolt-on type is needing only the low tension springs to accomodate for the weight reduction. As for the other factory steel hood I have,I'm trying to make time to get to it for pics. But,either way we'll get you a hood eventually. Get back to me and let me know about either. Here are a couple pics of a f.glass hood, and one hood done on a car. They are $850 shipped primed&ready to paint with the option of having the underside cut in factory color of your choice for an extra $100.Thanks,Jason
Looks like I gotta go out n host the pics.......

www.autobodyspecialt.com sells two different types for around 400, ones a pin on only and the other is bolt on with factory hinges.
