not mine, but from a friend, although is mounted on my car
I'd make it with a twist, building a flapping door which will be like a flip down trap... when up, would flush the bulge. Would require a smaller opening to make a flushed door trap with the rest of buldge on sides.
I allways have hated the scoops and rear wings. I think they cut the body lines on side view, thats why I think on a flushed door trap when up, and flip down being activated

The overall design looks super familiar, I had almost thought it was like a Viper scoop. Is it fabricated out of thin air or based on an existing hood/scoop? I would kill for one of these on mine.

No, everything was made from plain sheetmetal. No donor molded pieces more than use the same bulged curvatures on sides of the "scooped" access
