Yes, SEM dyes. It couldn't hurt trying it. If it doesn't work, you have to replace it, which is where you are now.

You would have a choice of any color. Though if you stayed with gold, the original gold roof would make a great base for the new gold.

You probably already know the top in your picture is not correct for our cars. 73-74 used a material called Cobra Grain I believe. Matches the grain on the louver windows.

I think the original top was white according to fender tag, also i believe the car had a luggage rack on trunk lid too. Who sells the product i need to try and re-color vinyl?

I looked at web site but its hard to tell much about the colors. Camel looks about as close as i could tell.

Try going to the local auto parts or chain store. You should find vinyl paint on the shelf. Probably a limited selection though.

Vinyl paint is getting hard to find in a rattle can. Plasti-Kote had the best semi-gloss sheen, but now all I can find is Dupli-color in either dead flat or super shiny.
