Wow, nice money saved there for someone ready to place an order. Thanks for sharing that Jeff. The Admin here is a lazy so-and-so. But I'll talk to him about creating a space for this.

I like them, actually. You pay a little more, but they have lots of items in stock, carry better quality parts where available, and know what they are talking about. You don't get all of those things other places.

PepBoys Customers: NEVER walk into a PepBoys to make your purchases. Always buy online and take advantage of their 20-30% online special pricing. This changes daily and seasonally. Particularly for brake, oil, filter and tune up parts. Order online, using their discount codes and then pickup at the parts counter in about an hour (if parts are in stock. 2-3 days if not in local store). Join their awards program and get additional discount coupons to use online or in the store, as well as spending rewards which you use like cash.

Tempting but I wont shop with them anymore. I used to practically live in Pep Boys about 15 years ago. It was like a candy store to me. A few things put me off about them. Like the time I bought tires for my Jeep and the wheel nearly wobbled of on the way home. Lug nuts were not tightened. I just may need to check out that 30 % Off coupon though. Thanks

Brigond: Tires: May I suggest Costco, BJ's, and Walmart (yes Walmart, probably Sam's too) for tires. For Costco and BJ's you wait for their $70 off 4 tires coupon (every other month varying major brands) and sometimes free install. Costco is preferred as they use Nitrogen to fill your tires. Both come with lifetime balance and road hazard (free flat fixing). And always price against Walmart. In fact, I purchased my Cooper Cobra GTs for my 71 Charger at Walmart. Costco and BJ's don't carry Cooper. Walmart does, and to get the best price you order them online and they ship them to your local Walmart for free! My front set of Cooper Cobra Radials G/T 102T P235-15 were $219.40 for the pair including tax and NYS disposal fee. My rear set of Cooper Cobra Radials G/T 108T P255-15 were $234.89 including tax and NYS disposal fee. Mounting, new stems and lifetime balancing was $52.14 all in, and lifetime hazard $43.45 which includes flat fix, and tire replacement if there is useable tread and flat can't be fixed (I.E. sidewall or outside tread punctures). And think of all of the Walmarts in the USA. The only issue is that no major tire chain, including Walmart will install any tires on your car/truck other than what's stated on your driver's door pillar. So for my Charger, I had to jack up my car, load up all four wheels into the back of my son's F-150 and bring them to Walmart for mounting. Once on the car, they will service provided you have your receipts.
Before sending my son off to college 350 miles away, we replaced the tires on his 2004 F-150 STX offroad 4x4 with on/off road high-end name brand tires from Walmart for under $100 a tire. Can't tell you how handy the lifetime balancing and hazard repair was for him. Just need to keep a copy of all sales receipts in the glove box.
As per quality of install: 1)Understand that the lowest men on the skills totempole at any shop are Tire Mounters and Oil Changers. You always have to double check their work. 2)It's also a good idea for you to torque wrench your own lugs after install and about 100 miles later. Too many shops assume that they can set their airguns and go.

30% now through Monday Midnight at Yearone.com Use Coupon code DINNER Enjoy! Thanks for this, I wanted to order two decals and they wanted $23US to send to Canada, that is absolutely crazy. Maybe I can buy a few things to offset the potential shipping charges. I just installed my trunk lid decal from Year One I purchased over 20 years ago, lol.
