Honestly? I'd NEVER EVER will paint an interior part. Unless there are not any other solution What if the other solution is an expensive but poor quality reproduction part? LOL that would be an emergency resource! LOL... I have on my watch list these since EVER: www.ebay.com/itm/73-74-Plymouth-Road-Runner-GTX-Rear-door-panels-4-piece-set-mopar-Charger-71-72/162680544118?hash=item25e0841b76:g:szYAAOSwQgpW~xOv&vxp=mtrBUT: -the seat friction will worn off the paint on the seats area allmost inmediatly... remember my car was/is/will be a driver as far I can afford the gas ( once arrives to Spain... someday... yeah ) -can't spend money on that at this moment -I'm affraid when I'll be able to afford them, won't be available. I painted my interior panels once... but the used ones I got initially, white over white, and worn off paint wasn't THAT noticeable. They were yellowed ( and chalky ) Thanks GOD, white interiors on Charges uses to be with black dash and console, since I got a nice used Black console and dash pad ( and an extra NOS console locally, without lid.... plus the console lid you sent me ) I painted A pillars white over black pieces, but A pillars never get worn from friction. A pillars reproductions are only available from Accus**t. If they were at least Palco!!! same about 74 only rear panels... just AccuS**T source... 71/73 are available from Palco at least.

It's all about the white interior. I may have ruined the seat covers for good but I'm worried about getting new covers. I've read here that they don't fit tight as the originals and I'm afraid the "white" covers are closer to a cream than a bright white like the rest of the car. I have black upper panels and if I have to get new covers, I might as well go with the black. But I'd really like the white interior since I plan to paint my car a deep candy red with a white vinyl top. The white interior is what I wanted to end up with.

well, The black 74 panels are listed back in another listing LOL
Yes, the replacement covers are a bit off. It seems the backing cloth is made shorter than the vinyl itself and that makes weird wrinkles on vinyl around once installed... IT SEEMS that has being noticed to Legendary and maybe that is being corrected ?
And yes, vinyl is a bit white off... originally was like that too even on panels
in any case is better than paint them

... IT SEEMS that has being noticed to Legendary and maybe that is being corrected ? I would not hold my breath. They have had issues with buttons falling off their covers for at least 20 years. To the best of my knowledge, that issue is acknowledged but never resolved.

buuuut... buttons maybe are a 3rd party stock and not a better manufacturer for them ?
aaand the patterns are made by themself ?
well just trying to being "optimistic"?... late for me anyway
I have being thinking seriouslly about use local buttons if needed, the ones my car had on the old locally made covers.

buuuut... buttons maybe are a 3rd party stock and not a better manufacturer for them ? If your 3rd party sourced buttons have been falling off for 20+ years......a good company finds a solution. Even if it means making the buttons yourself....or in house modification of the 3rd party buttons. To churn out product for 20+ years with a well known issue is a horrible way of doing business
