I always liked the "look" of a rim blow steering wheel.....until I bought one. Turned out to be too big for my liking

Originals are rubber molded/injected simulating a leather cover Nacho, don't you think it more accurate to say that grip on originals is molded/injected foam? Where 75 a newer seem to be firmer (not foam grip) aren't laters same grip material than earliers just diff design ?... I have though since EVER later are same molded/injected foam or rubber. if not, my bad... you are more on that than me, having lots in hands to compare

I meant the seam desing on grip and matched colored the one on the blue one is incorrect for the year, being as far I know for 75 and laters, baseball kind seam. All 71/74 were black and 90º degrees seam on grip Now the horn button with the chrome trim... I allways have being confused if that was just SE deal on 71/72 or all 71/72s were like that, but allways in black anyway. The 5th pic is a recovered wheel damn! I love the brown interior LOL

Anyone have experience with getting one recovered and if so, how much was it?

I bought one from Grant. I returned it. I didn't like the grip. It felt like just hard plastic with the seam right in the spot of the crease between my palm and fingers. I was expecting some sort of cush foam. Yeah not so much.

I have displayed at Chryslers at Carlisle for two years now two wheels that GT Performance makes. One with a leather wrap wheel and one that is actual wood grain steering wheel. They are NOT like factory... but very nice wheels.

They are NOT like factory... but very nice wheels. I was not aware of the woodgrain Tuff wheel. I almost like it.....almost. I think the way the spokes transition to the wood grip could be improved somehow.

To be honest..I think the wheel /wood grain grip itself is too fat on the one's from GT Performance... and the color of the stain is too red... but it is still a nice wheel. If I remember correctly year one sells two tuff wheels... and one is a lot more money than the other...
