Anyone know where to get 74 seat belts? Doesn't have to be same as original, but some nice ones with shoulder harness will do and that can be mounted in the same holes as originals.

used around.... aftermarkets uses just one retractor and one fixed point. Can be made to work/fit thought
the deal is, if you are keeping the interlock system will need to find female buckles with built in switche/sensors normally open... or some other which fits into the stock female buckle

Thanks, Nacho. My car doesn't have the interlock system. I was hoping to find a 3 point so it would look and fit in the original points. What do you mean by "can be made to work/fit"?

ok, the original system works with dual retractors, one to lap and the other to shoulders. Newer aftermarket ones get just one retractor and the other one is fixed. you can get it attached on same points just one "retractorless".
I guess will need to try get one with a hanger to the roof.

Not many on Ebay right now, let alone full sets. I would go for the 71-73 style IMHO. I have a fellow that I could get a full set from but it wouldn't be well into spring. Everything here is COVERED in lots of snow. NOt sure how much of a hurry you're in. If not, what color do you need?

the deal is 71/73 and 74 doesn't meet the roof provision for the shoulder belt this is a full 74 view An aftermaket setup could be mounted the same than the original 74 one just the lap section without the retractor, straight to the floor provision. Thinking on the aftermarket one also gets the hanger section for the roof, I guess, for a hardtop car, without B pillar

this is one where the hanger doesn't actually HANGS, but is a pivot point, like B pillared ones that could work, but I think if a longer hanger section is available, will suit better to the shoulder, instead against the neck. Aside will help on a shorter belt assembly for those who still got the original system but damaged, an aftermarket one could be modifieed, usuing the original roof hanger. Will need to dissasembly and get the belt going throught of course

check this website... longs sash guide ( what I'm calling hanger ) available for hardtops www.wescoperformance.com/3-pt-belt-abvwind-lg-shrt-sash-help.htmlit says 7" available. Original is more like 10", but still better than the standard system setup for B pillared cars Stock 74 setup is a bit tedious being dual retractor setup, and quite often they get stuck ( either the shoulder or lap retractor ) while fastening. ( BTDT ). I'm keeping it just because I like to keep original, aside I like my interlock system in working order, But if I don't, will go with something like this. Althought MAYBE some aftermarket male end, could meet the female buckle to keep the seatbelt sensor system for the interlock... dunno
