yes I saw them quite time ago, and wondered WHY the models with less units available are being reproed, and not ALL the rest? where is the "profit" point of view ?

Nacho, do you think these reproduced panels are actually for 72 SE? Yes-reproducing those first ( a one year, one model part) would be real dumb. It's hard for me to judge length of the panels based on a picture.

I sent the seller Dante a question. He is knowledgeable Mopar guy. I'm kind of surprised that he did not realize 71 SE and 72 SE panels are not the same

Dante gave me length dimension of 37.25 inches on the repro part I measured a non 72 SE set I have and that measurement seems right on. My orange 72 (non SE) seems to be the same. The one sail panel I have that I "thought" was 72 SE measured the same....so it must not be for a SE. Would be great if someone with a 72 SE could measure one of their sail panels. Pretty sure that these repro panels are not for 72 SE.....

Pretty sure that these repro panels are not for 72 SE... Wait... you guys are going to have to help me out here. I'm working from memory only, so I'm sure you are probably right, but to me, those repros HAVE to be 72 SE only. We know 71 SE and 72 SE have a completely different quarter window profile. And within '72, the SE and non-SE cars have a different profile (the non-SE being like the '71). So the only "special" one is the 72 SE. And the 72 SE is "special" because of the steel plug that changed the profile from a racey angle, to a formal vertical line mid-glass...and the trim inside had to do the same thing so that you didn't see the bare backside of that steel plug. Therefore this trim HAS TO BE '72 SE only, right? Or the line in the trim would look like this?

Nacho, thanks for posting the pictures. For some reason my brain was telling me that the 72 SE panel is longer but that is wrong. The difference is exactly what you pointed out.
So, the panels on eBay are 72 SE panels. But definitely not right for a 71 SE like the manufacture thinks.
