Ok Guys.........now that I have some more funds, how do I determine what size sway bars to get for my Charger. The previous owner for some reason took them off and tossed them. Obviously he did not know the concept of what these were for. I'm thinking the 1" bar should be right. What do you think?
Thanks in advance for any of your input
Henry

Front? They came out in 2 sizes.. I THINK 7/8 for SB and 15/16 for BB
Rear I think 3/4
Any other size over that will be a improvement

Henry, I doubt these are in high demand. If I may suggest, why don't you try to find used ones. VegasCharger has had severl 73/4s in the past, no doubt he would give you a great deal if he has any or is parting one right now. wichargerguy.proboards.com/user/1833

Thanks guys. I am trying to find used ones but no luck yet. Have a decent Mopar swap meet coming up in a week and maybe I can get lucky. When I go online to Jeggs or Summit Racing they say order will be shipped around July. I will check out vegas charger and see what he's got.
Thanks

Henry does the car still have the sway bar mount plates in rear? Those can be the hardest part to find. I may have one mount plate for 73-74. The last 8.75 rear end I pulled in JY was off a 73 or 74, and had sway bar attached. (This was 6 years ago or so) I distinctly remember the passenger side plate was broken. I would have to look, but I should still have all that......been awhile since I have went on a selling spree. Pretty sure I just put the rear end in one building......tossed the sway bar in attic of another barn
As ODZ eluded, used should be cheap on 73/74. Well......at least for the front.

All you have to do is find a Cordoba or the that generation Charger ect. Cheap Yes/No/Maybe On the front....Yes. BUT I think bar diameters also vary on those cars depending on whether they are BB or SB On the rear.....the mounting plates on the doba would be wrong. The bar itself and frame rail mounts are "right" Not sure if the bar to mount plate "links" are the same length. Based on past comparisons.... I think not

No, there are no mount plates. Based on what I find with complete kits, they all look like only rubber mounts. The car itself is a 340 SB and the sizes were different from the BB. For now I'm gonna look to do the front only and see how that feels.
