Have had my finger on the Buy it Now button a bit too much here lately. Bought a set of Rallye doors in CT and another PB hood in PA. In addition to that, I have had the nose of a 72 Charger with hideaways sitting in a friends barn in CT for close to 2 years now. Good hideaways, bumper, F valance, fender moldings, headlight buckets, and front end wiring harness. To top it off, Bob agreed to sell me his 72 440 for a good price and throw in a 400 that if nothing else, should be good for parts. Looks like I will be running up the east coast soon to retrieve all this stuff. My wife was not too happy about me buying the doors and planning a 2200 mile trip without discussing it with her first. #FingersInEars# #BBbad# Fortunately we were able to come to a peaceful settlement (household peace cost me $20 and giving her brother a 2000 neon I have I really am looking forward to meeting Bob. However, I am kind of leery that he will try to get me to help milk the cows. ;D

Wow, that's a lot of desirable parts, Tom. Are those for a project you are working on?

Wow, that's a lot of desirable parts, Tom. Are those for a project you are working on? Dave, The short answer to that question is Yes/No/Maybe I most certainly am looking forward to owning a 440 again. That I can definitely envision making its way into one of my cars with a 4 speed behind it in the next year or two. I guess I should explain that I currently have 4 72 Chargers. One is a 340 N96 Rallye car, 2 are Toppers, and 1 is an SE. I have basically acquired all of the parts needed to make the "other 3" into 4 speed Rallye clones. I am admittedly a complete wacko when it comes to 3rd Gen parts collecting....If I see something at a good price...and I have the $$, I buy it. The doors, hood, and hideaways are more than likely just for future use.

Tom, you are my idol !! #ImNotWorthy# #ImNotWorthy#
Methinks that back end is going to sag just a wee bit more with a 440, a 400, 2 Rallye doors, a front assembly, et al, in it..just a wee bit more!
Best have the headlights adjusted when you get to Connecticut!
