My T Handle shifter malfunctioned and then sort of crumbled into littler bits.
Gunslinger is likely no longer producing Pistol Grips.
Auto Grip is also out there, but none in stock.
Besides making my own out of a piece of wood or 3D Printing, what other options are there?
Anyone selling a used Gunslinger by chance?
I see the repops, and read both positive and negative reviews on them.
I figured if I am going to pay for a new one, an upgrade is what I want.
If you prefer the T Handle, more power to you. I don't.
TIA for any helpful input.

I think I can get you hooked up soon, Alan. I've been going in 100 different directions and not getting much done. I appreciate your patience.

Do you want another T handle? The new ones are fine.

quapmaster ~ thank you
od ~ not really interested in the repops. Reviews I've read are pretty evenly split 50/50.

Received and installed the pistol grip shifter. Great quality, thank you quapmaster.
So, I never used the Slp Stik aspect before. In trying out the shifter, I can move from 1 to 2 without the trigger, but from 2 to D I need to trigger the grip. Shouldn't it go into D without the trigger?

Yes, but you might have to let it come back a bit to get the ratchet to allow forward motion into D. I've seen some of these old mechanisms with issues into D. A little lube never hurts.

Each time you slap the stick to upshift you then have to pull it back a bit to unlock it to then slap it again into drive. The idea was when you slapped it it would only go up 1 gear. Once in drive you'll have to unlock it again ( pull it back a touch) before you can freely push it into neutral. Again, you don't want to accidentally put it in neutral when you're racing! Back in '75 or so my Dad bought a '73 SE from my aunt who had bought the car new. It shifted the same way as my '71 does now.

actually no need to pull it it back hard. Usually just release the handle should be enough with its own "weight"... hence the slap stick therm without need to "handle" the handle

Well, I forgot to post a picture of the Auto Grip installed. It makes the rest of the interior look shabby now. Oi.
