CATWHISKERS, or WINDOW FELTS Installation

I am in the process of replacing my window felts on my 1974 Charger Se. I swapped out the outer felts that mount to the door with screws no problem but the felts that go on the door panels were held on with staples and I am looking for the best method of attaching the new felts. Proven methods would be preferred to ideas. Three most obvious methods would be screws, pop rivets, adhesive.

The easier method are small selftapping screws ( is what I did ). Screws came with the kit I got in fact

I ended up using pop rivets and it worked great.
