As far as I can tell, the front bench seat and rear seat in my 71 Charger came out of a 1973 Duster as evidenced by the build sheet still remaining on the rear seat. Looks to be a solid match looking at 73 Duster photos too.
Does anyone know what other A-bodies out there may have the same ability to swap over for both fitment in the 71 Charger and seat track alignment with the existing holes? Reason being is that there is a set of 1973-76 Dart seats local to me that are in much better shape AND has the rear folding seat option which would be killer to have in the Chargers.
Thanks in advance y'all!

Huh...I thought the A-body seat frames were smaller. I'm surprised they fit.

The a-body bench seat with the a-body tracks will line up with the floorpan holes on a b-body, but the seat is not as wide as the b-body seat, you kind of sit on the edge of the seat when you are behind the wheel.

Ok so here are some comparison notes with photos that can be seen here. The seats shown in the car are the current ones and the ones in full black are those that I'm considering. Dude had the measurements for the new front and rears, which are below. My front seat is basically the same and a lot of the dimensions of the rear seat are the same, but the upper and lower section of the rears in mine are about 53 inches, while the others are a bit off as you can see. Front = 52” wide x 22” deep” x 29” top of seat. 29” is a little high since it’s got bolts acting as feet on the frame brackets. Rear is 2 piece: Top: 47” wide x 22” tall x 4” thick Bottom: 57” wide x 19” deep x 8” thick (part tag WSP9110 / 3689368 C) Total rear seat height would be similar to 30”
