So, I went to JY yesterday. Pulled up to a Lincoln product...was going to get the door mirrors.
Was aware of the presence of a person or two around the rear end of the vehicle. Didn't pay them any mind. Couldn't really see them because one had an umbrella to block sun.
So, I open passenger door, remove upper triangle panel to expose mounting bolts. As I start removing three mounting nuts....... a Very Fugly sausage handed butch runs up declaring that she (it) just needs the mirror glass......and paws at the mirror, attempting to pull the glass off. WTF?
My response and friendly personality must have convinced her different.....as the sausage handed beast retreated to the shade of the umbrella. (like a vampire in sunlight)
I guess she was able to snatch the glass off the drivers side.....as it was missing

The trash can and junk yard chronicles. I'd buy the first book.

James and I were in a local U-Pull-It last week, getting parts for his truck, my van, and my daughters Saturn. There were a few normal folks, but also a few colorful characters.

The trash can and junk yard chronicles. I'd buy the first book. Somewhere in the book........ I would include a piece about walking up that 90 degree hill in PA, trying to get to a restroom.
left foot....clench. Right foot ...clench. LOL

Oh yeah....lots of close calls.
The Ford section is for when you know there is no way you can possibly make it back to the restroom or porto-john. * *
