Ok , I feel a little silly asking how to remove the one hole wiper. Anyway, I bought modern trico blade from Rock Auto 2 for $16 shipped. Classic wanted about $50 then pay shipping. Dont know if it's the same product though.

That blade will likely be too tall to fit under the hood when parked. I tried a modern one once. Somebody offers a "classic" blade that works. Lemme see if I can find the info. Got it written down somewhere.
Trico #33-162 Classic, refills 43-160. At one time I had seen some on eBay for $8.39+free shipping. Can't say that they fit as I haven't bought any. This info I read somewhere. I should buy a pair myself to try and have an extra set.

Oh, sorry. I didn't answer your question. I believe, if I remember right, you bend the blade opposite of it's normal bend and the spring or latch releases so you can pull it off the stud.

Yes, that is correct. You have to bend it pretty far. Also what I have done in the past is get the new blades and just use the filler or rubber portion. Should unclip fiarly easy.

Thanks I'll give it a try. Rock Auto also has refills for about $3.00 plus shipping but I have my doubts it will fit the original wiper blade frame.

Here are some comparisons of what I received from RockAuto versus what looks to be original Trico wipers from my car. By the way , my old Chiltons manual did not mention anything about bending the blade to get it off the pin. It worked! Here are some pictures so you can compare and decide how you want to go about it if you do change your wipers. I'm curious to see what Classic Industries has to offer or is it just the same product that I received here? I will be keeping my original wiper blade frames and possibly pick up some refills from Classic Industries. Although, these are hidden wipers the black color/ modern look kind of annoys me but will do for now.

Going to predict that the replacements won't work due to being too tall.
Shoot....I bought expensive replacements for my car 5-6 years ago. (whatever Nacho had pointed out on eBay)
and those sometimes clear the hood and hide in the down position....sometimes not.
I have always assumed the "sometimes not" was due to poor hood adjustment on my car.
Do these Anco vintage 20-16's fit? As in...have a low enough profile?

The Rock Auto wipers won't work and have to be returned. That's what happens when you try to save a buck. Since our wipers are hidden, they won't be able to return to the hidden position because the profile is too high. They will likely work with exposed wipers.
