But the car is a 1975...several years before Star Wars. A few years after this - Not a coincidence I'd wager.

I boy...my oldest brother LOVES that movie.
I don't mind it, but it's a little too..." '60s " for me?

It makes my inner child happy in a way the latest 1500 HP Koenigseggs and Bugattis don't. It looks like a big Matchbox car. I can imagine sneaking this into kindergarten and thinking the sticker on the back was so cool. I searched AutoTempest and this is the closest one I could find - LinkThis one may be too "80's." $17,000 seems like an awful lot for a tribute car. I'm thinking the seats aren't right for whatever it is a tribute too. I never heard of these before. It begs the question, when did Chrysler stop using the rallye wheel?

I like 'em both.
I initially liked the custom hood on the Volare based one, but the more I look, the less sure I am...too close to the panel edge, too big in scale. They lifted those right off the B-body hood, and added them to this one, and they just look too bog to me.
And I don't see $17k forthcoming.

I would have left them off too. There's enough going on with this car.
