I am working on my door window track and need a part. The piece of the track that bolts to the glass has a rubber part that fits in the channel at either end. Anyone know if those rubber parts are being repoped anywhere or what they are called? Thanks

This cut-away door was done by a member here years ago. Is the part visible in this photo?

The vertical piece of track at the top that has the 4 screws attaching the glass to it. On either side of that part it slides up and down on the 2 vertical track parts. There is rubber in between the track parts to prevent metal on metal as it goes up and down.

In the pic you can only see 3 of the 4 screws holding the glass to the track

This looks like a little black rubber washer that's slipped out of place from under the screw. Is that the piece you are speaking of? Sorry about all the questions...just trying to learn this stuff too.

Not the screw but if you keep going to the right of your arrow in the picture where that piece of track has a small channel at the end where it slips over the up and down section of track. About 5 in long. The inside of that channel has a channel shaped rubber part which fits between the 2 pieces of track. When the window goes up and down the rubber slides over the vertical track section. The rubber part is glued/riveted inside the small channel.

Oh boy. Never worked on one of these doors, so lots of little mysteries in there.

I think it is on the regulator arm. It is a round rubber part that is riveted onto the arm. This glides up/down inside the channel. There s/b some for sale on eBay but you will need to buy the regular arm assembly to get this part. Don't know anyone re-popping these. Hope this helps

Dave, I sent you an email with the parts book breakdown, maybe he can pick out the number and I can look it up. Prolly going to be easier making one out of gasket material though.
