Does anyone know of a source for the 8 pin connector (male and female) used to feed to and from my '74 ignition switch? A couple of the pins got really hot sometime before I bought the car. I've cleaned and reshaped them but still don't trust them.
Thanks in Advance

Bill and Rose Evans have been renting space at our Walter P. Chrysler (WPC) Great Lakes Region (GLR) winter swap meet for years. They are very nice and helpful folks. And while their specialty is complete harnesses, they have sold me a few repair parts (terminals and connector body) over the years. I'd check with them. Evans Wiring Harnesses

I believe that is 2983403 or 404 depending on which side you need or both. No doubt they are NS1 from Chrysler. Best bet would be aftermarket. Search electrical connectors or Chrysler calls them insulators. I know I have seen them at Carlisle. On the other hand no one says you cant use a similar Molex connector or connectors. No one will ever see it.

Terminals are called MOLEX and they are available yet, not everywhere but can be found. I got once a 4 pins set at radio Shack ( when we had radio shack in Venezuela ) to replace the ones on the rear body harness with tail light harness conections. These are the same in fact than the ones used to the PC ATX power plants to source ATA disc drives... insulator included for the tail light
Plastic insulator: really hard to find. Odzking talked about a supplier of them somewhere long time ago, but can't recall who it was. Maybe autocollectorsuply or something like that?
