Gallery - LinkI bet everyone will have an opinion on the 2ng gen door vent. I'm not sure what my opinion is - I've thought about doing this myself since rallye doors are so hard to come by, but I would have put the vent on the door. Everything else is so right about this car though, I think I can live with the rear quarter panel placement. I'm asking myself if the vent would bother me if I didn't know it wasn't supposed to be there, and I'm not sure that it would. Fake vents and intakes show up in all kinds of places on muscle cars. Overall I like this one a lot. I wish 71-72 had had the extra sculpting in the flanks, maybe even more pronounced than that. It wouldn't have hurt if the 3rd gen had looked a little more like the 2nd gen.

Not a fan of them, but if installing on quarter, I was made it the other way around. just like: and maybe even made them functional... ( supossely on supercars are made to cool down brakes &/or engine if rear engine car )

That's one bad- looking car but I'm still on the fence about the vent. Kinda like Nacho's idea also.

I think the monstrosity of a supercharger is ridiculous for a street driven car.
Never liked the look when it was popular, still don't
The fake vent.....the R/T emblem makes it legit. LOL Every Charger needs at least a half dozen R/T emblems randomly applied
I need to give credit where it is due. Nice tail light lenses. I really hate seeing a freshly restored 73-74 with shabby looking tail light lenses.

I don't think ANY of what they did to that poor car is as bad as not replacing the vinyl roof and leaving the louvers. That is awful. Just my 2 cents.

That's one bad- looking car but I'm still on the fence about the vent. Kinda like Nacho's idea also. the only deal is, and must be said by thr thruth, the rear faced scoops match allmost perfectly with quarter body lines, which wouldn't be being front side faced... but since I'm not fan of them, who cares

then some other opinions. Big bucks spent on car but:
-Molds ? deck lid, rear of fenders and hood ? all of them or no one, but no half of them. Maybe the guy is still trying to get them bought ? dunno, but remove the ones on car for a while. Or the incomplete set ones ( rears and belt lining ). Althought for a removed SE vinyl top, I wouldn't install the belt molding set
-Grilles ? unless the guy loves that mesh, which I don't. The mesh looks good on a ratrod ( ratmuscle ? ) maybe, but not on a shiny amazing paint job

LOL......Dave, you would not be able to see the road or oncoming traffic with that monstrosity sticking thru the hood.
