What did you use to paint and prep them with ? I tried painting an old pair and it never stuck. On Power Tour with the heat and sweat the paint came right off. I've tried lots of types also, even a shoe polish, but every year it's been a disappointment when summer hits.

Yes, I've tried the Krylon and that just didn't hold. I've done the paint prep work, cleaned and nothing worked yet. Perhaps the Rust-oleum will work since it's a primer. I'll give it a go...

I talked to a guy at a local show whose white interior looked brand new. He said it was 12 years old ! When asked his secret, he said he had his upholstry redone with boat seat material which can take a beating and be cleaned with just about any solvent. So now I'm taking some panels to a local guy to see what he'd charge to do the same thing.
