Hi all. I'm Charlie from East Texas. I just recently bought a 71 SE in B5 Blue. Flew to Colorado and drove it home... 1100 miles. With an N-code 383 4bbl, I got a whopping 11.5 mpg averaging 65 to 70 mph. Thank God gas is cheap right now!! The car ran fine on the drive home.

Thanks guys. I've been trying to post pics, but something seems to hit a snag. I try clicking on the "add attachment" button at the top right, and once I choose my photo to attach, the blue bar that indicates an attachment uploading just keeps on swirling... and swirling..... and swirling! * *

Welcome Charlie. Great road trip home and one way to find out how the car rides and handles. Hope to see some pics.

I think the add attachemnt tool uses our sites memory to host the photo. It's full up.
The image will have to be hosted elsewhere. I use Flickr for instance.
