I have 2 pairs similar to the ones that he did not demonstrate. They have a little arm on the side that works like a ratchet clicking down as you open the clamp (squeeze down on the pliers), and holding it where ever you stop. The grippers on the ends have multiple sized slots and spin to allow you to grip the clamp on either side of the pliers, or from the tip. Trying to add a picture of the pair, but got a notice that the forum is full. I believe that I got these at Sears, although they are not Craftsman. Update, found a similar pair on eBay www.ebay.com/itm/352418797932?hash=item520dcc196c.

Interesting that there are two pairs in that ebay link, with slightly different jaws on them. I like the ratchet with teeth Vs. the ring in the demo piece.

Just worked on my Son's 2004 F-150 STX. The flat bladed hose clamp pliers were perfect for his 2004 original spring loaded hose clamps.
