Hi.
Has anyone installed a borgeson steering box in a 73 charger?
i am actually installing one in my car but the original steering shaft is much too short now.
for Installation i had to remove the two original couplers, since the borgeson unit has a different Spline i cannot use the old coupler System (the length was perfect an would not require modification)
i have a longer coupler that belongs to the conversion kit but even with that ist a big gap.

I don't know that I recall anyone here ever putting one in. Read quite a bit about them on Moparts, and from Rick Ehrenberg.

Anyone that sells these kits says it fits with no problem.. Now i know there are various steering column configurations in our cars.
Someone told me to expand the steering shaft. its a two piece telescopic shaft that maybe can be expanded but is this safe..?
In the 73 parts catalog the steering shaft is the same part number for many applications Is it possible that these can be adjusted for each model?
