Don't know about the one listed for the 1972 but the one listed for 1971 looks like the original one in my 1971.

I have seen the listed one for 72 on E Bodies.
I'm wondering this could be because 72s got vapor canisters and 71s not ?
This takes me also to wonder about 70/71 E bodies

well, it seems my theory about the charcoal vapors canister is true... which 71s don't have And that changes the washer reservoir. I guess the same for E bodies

I'm wondering, if a 72 didn't get the charcoal vapor canister, could fit the 71. Wondering about the screws provisions, because about fitting should be the same... right?

Odzking is correct. These are also available as repops from Classic INDUSTRIES. I got one and it was just like pic above but nice clean new. A little pricey at $59. The pics in the catalog don't look like it, but if you order the right part number, it is right when it comes. They also have the pump motor for about $14.

Ha, think that's pricey, try finding one for a 73/4 with speed control.
