I have 4 newish Wagner 4000 DOTHO9 (non-halogen)headlights on my 73. While I was trying to fit my new headlight shields, I noticed one of my headlights were sitting in the headlight "dish" properly.
There are 3 locating dimples in the headlight dishes
However, the Wagners have 6 nubs or pins on the back, instead of 3.
I think they tried to make them universal to fit more that one pin pattern, but the end result is that none of the pins match up with all 3 dimples, so the headlights have a 1/4" gap between the back edge of the bulb and the dish. Not a big deal except that 1/4" interferes the installation of the headlight shield.
Is there a better fitting headlight light out there, or is this the way they all are now? Any tricks to set the light back a bit? Thanks Vic

I have wagners in my high beams and I think GE on my low/high beams. I think all fit perfect, all halogens. Would like one same brand on all, but is what I could find in Venezuela.
