I am working on my dash assembly and this is the first time I have had an uncut bezel and stock radio. I've included some pics of what I have, I have the one support bracket installed but the radio has some wiggle. Are there mounting screws that I should be using or a second bracket? Any help would be appreciated thanks. Or is it just the knobs that keep it in place?

There are the 2 nuts that go on the volume and tuning shafts that come through the bezel. Then there is 1 screw that goes into the side of the radio that you can get at with great difficulty with the ash tray removed and a stubby screw driver. I would think the 2 nuts and the rear/side brace would be enough but I did install the screw anyway because it's supposed to be there. I installed and removed that repro radio several time eventually putting my original AM/FM stereo radio back in so I got kind of good at it. But it is a pain. Because the repro radio is much shorter and lighter, you can't use the brace so you have to use the side screw. I found this pic on EBay ... you can see the small hole on the side near the button area.

On the repro radio you can see the screw position

Ah just what I needed, thanks for the info and pics, looks like it is definitely the 2 nuts that go on the volume and tuning shafts that come through the bezel.
I think I have see them somewhere around the basement.

I have found two kind of nuts for the pots... thin an thick ones. Thick ones are easier to thread in!

Yeah, those thin ones are very easy to cross thread.
