Are the wheels in my signature car what you guys are calling Magnums?
According to the interchange books I've read, and other reference sources, I had the impression that Dodge called them Road Wheels.
And to respond to this informal poll/vote, I really don't know which ones I like better...
Pete, if I send you a larger version pic of my signature car, and another car with Rallyes, could you Photoshop the wheels onto the car to give me an idea? I suspect--but I can't prove--that's the car from my signature that you stole from me and turned into the Batmobile for YOUR sig pic. #Slap#
Or does anyone have a pic of a black 72 SE with a full white vinyl top with Rallye Wheels on it?
Sounds like I'm going off-topic, but I'm not...I'm trying to make a rational decision so I can make a rational reply to this thread's question. ;D

You know, I thought I had remembered reading that the Road Wheels W23's were only an option for 14 inch wheels...which means all "Magnums" that you see as 15 inch on Chargers are non-Mopar wheels...right? And I'm fairly certain that the Road Wheels W21's (that everyone calls Rallyes) on my Build Sheet WERE optioned by Mopar as either 14's or 15's... Shoot,....I'm startin' to sound like the Grasshopper, here! #doh# #leaving#

I personally think Magnums look better on Plymouths and Rallyes on Dodges. I think its because back in the late 70s/early 80s most of Magnums I saw were on Plymouths and most of the Rallyes were on Dodges...it just seems natural that way

Just getting my 72 Rallye back from the shop and going to get her on the road. It's got some mags on it and I want to go stock looking. I'm not sure to go Rallys or Magnums? What do you think? The car is red on white (will be changed to black). Pics anyone? G'day Nakita, I just posted a link to some pics of my car with a friends rally wheels - they look awsome. If you need to compare just look at my car now with Magnums and the difference with the rally's. The link to the pics is : s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc276/71beeman/Bee%20with%20Rallye%20Wheels/Hope this helps a little with your decision. Peter

Here I am fighting hard not to use the common venacular for distinguishing Rallye & Magnum only to have my meaning shuttled back into the dark ages. Save yourself Jer: Say you were making a joke! Yes, I like the 14" Road Wheels (Magnums) alot. I'd use a 15" Ford version if the right deal came along (cause MoPar didn't offer that size). Now, the pics Peter posted with the 15" Road Wheels (Rallyes) do look very nice: I LIKE it alot on that car
