Interlock system control unit
It is also at the same time the warning buzzers control unit... seatbelt, key in, and lights on if equipped.

Second pic is the rear window deffog relay
Cruise control doesn't have any kind of unit control relay, its a straight relationship between steering column control switch and servo on engine bay

The 3rd and 4th pics look like the ignition harness and blinker harness and the fan switch module or rear defog relay.

I added an electric trunk latch. Will it run without the seat belt interlock control connected? It has so many wires I would think it would not run without it.

Yeah! I can see the trunk latch switch wires.
No, you can't run without the interlock box. Well, actually you can run but won't be able to crank up the engine if removing the box. Will need some easy wiring mods to the starter relay circuit.
Most of the wires are related to the seatbelt and seat sensors and the warning signal systems

I think my seal belt interlock system has been bypassed, not sure where, but it has never cared if my seat belt was fastened or not. I located the signal flasher and the emergency flasher and then found something that looks like a flasher, but smaller diameter and has three connections instead of just two. It gets pretty warm, bordering on hot, any idea what it is for? It has a small yellow wire that goes to the steering column. Not sure where the pink and the yellow w/black stripe go, but most of the pink and yellow wires on our diagrams seem to go to lighting. Could it be the timer for the light on the column, near the key switch?

Yeap!, Thats the igntion switch courtesy light time delay flasher.
Yes there is a big chance the interlock system was already bypassed, but who knows if at the control itself or at the wiring.
If you can crank up the engine at this moment without the box, is the wiring which is already modified.
