One thing to keep in mind that I did not think about in advance, I used white LEDs for the gauge illumination inside the factory blue domes, you can see the resulting shade of blue. The radio and the heater control are blue LEDs with no cover or dome to influence the color. If we were to remove the factory blue domes and use blue LEDs for the gauge illumination, the gauges should be the same shade of blue as the radio and heater controls, right?
It gives you a couple of options. They do have several other colors also, red, purple, amber, etc.

I know it's not "Correct" and the judges might give me a big , but it looks so much better and easier to read. I won't be installing Zombie light in my wheel wells any time soon but I'm ok with amazing interior lighting.

Can someone tell me why my dashboard/cluster light are dimmed when car is on idle and then brighten when I accelerate? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A new thread on electrical section would be more appropiated, but in a fast response... Mopar alts are famous to be low charge capacity at iddle. If you sums the wiring/terminal conditions and some abuses made after all these years, it becomes worst.

Welcome abroad 1973charger.
Nacho is right. The alternator rated output is quite low (by modern standards) on base cars (without a 100A alternator upgrade). I say rated, because if you had, say, a 36A alternator, you only get that 36 amps at say about 2000 rpm. At idle, you might only have 10-15 amps. With headlamps, marker lamps, heater blower, radio all on, it's actually discharging the battery at idle. If you have your turn signals on, you can probably see your ammeter twitch with each flash. Pretty normal behavior, as long as it improved as soon as you are off-idle.
