Brent,
Pete thinks I'm nuts, but what I'd REALLY like to do is have a spare (pre-painted) power bulge hood, a chin spoiler, a rear wing mounted on a spare rear deck lid, (and of course a set of 15" Ansen slotted mags with max-sized "meats" on them) AND a full set of Rallye Taillight Assemblies with Argent painted bezels.
THEN, in this fantasy of mine, I would have the above setup for around town, cruising the drag (Chester Street here), and meeting all the car nuts at the Sonic Drive-In on Friday nights (which is extremely cool, because they all back their rides in on the outer perimeter and lift their hoods up...like a weekly Mini-Car Show!!) I could also drive this setup on short (less than 1000 mile roundtrip) runs around here in CA, to the beach, to the Colorado river, to Las Vegas, that kind of thing.
PART 2 of this nutty idea is that when a car show or meet is coming up that I want to have the "classic" look at, I spend a half of a day in the garage (a fiberglass hood and trunk lid would expedite this process, and I do have a huge air compressor with air tools already) , and PRESTO/CHANGO, I have my "stock" Rallye wheels and white letter bias-ply tires, my stock flat hood, my spoiler-less chin and rear deck and of course my Infamous SE Taillights w/ chrome bezels....classic and factory look all the way!!
[ The only unknown is do I change the Tuff Wheel back to the original steering wheel for the shows and meets, and if so, do I put the 3 spoke with the woodgrain center and the Dodge logo, or do I put the original 2 spoke that came with the car? ]
Here's the factory 2-spoke wheel...
I'll have to recondition it 1st anyway:
This will be my interior with the 3 spoke classic wheel,
except with power windows, everything else is identical:
As I said, Pete has already certified me as being Full-Goose-Bozo
for this fruitcake idea, he said it would be time-intensive and not cost effective...
but I told him, in a respectful and mature manner:

Brent, my point is, that beautiful baby won't always be 8 months old, trust me,
ONE OF THESE DAYS you will be[/u] back to normal hours and household routines, and
YOU TOO can have the time to pick up an extra deck lid and
"Go rear wing" or "Not-Go rear wing" !![/color]

P.S.: Brent, how come I can't find Iowa on my National Map? #Scope#

Jer, I haven't decided on the rear wing yet, still toying with the idea though. Have wanted to to one forever just haven't made the final decision yet.Brent,
