I opted to buy this plug and play harness. I don't have any headlights dimming problems, but like the idea of not sending the power into the dashboard. It seems to be good quality. I ve seen videos of people making their own but this looks neat , organized, and easily removable .

Is the one from Crakedback? It's from Dapper lighting. They sell entire LED headlights set ups also. Their customer service seem great. I called to ask a few questions and the tech guy was helpful.

Update in the harness installation. It's a 5 min plug and play installation. The hardest part is how to make all the excess length of wiring to look neat in the void in front of the radiator. The first harness didn't get power passed the relays. And the headlight doors functioned intermittently . The tech support guys at Dapper lighting were really helpful. They stayed on the phone while I tested and tried everything they asked. They sent me a new harness with a return label. The new harness worked, BUT not without an issue. The headlights and headlight doors function properly in (High beam). In (low beam), the headlight doors won't close unless i go back to high beam. The support guy said he would have to look at the stock wiring diagram to troubleshoot it. He's going to consult other tech support coworkers. I'm thinking that I may just keep the harness and simply shut down the car in high beam mode . I can run on low beams as well, but I will have switch to high to get the doors to close. My feeling is that I may have the same issue with other harness manufacturers, especially with 4 headlights and headlight doors. The bottom line is that I like the idea Of having relays and less stress on old wiring. There's also a fuse on this harness.

There is no reason to get the doors working just in high beams. The doors are triggered straight by the headlight switch not by the low/high beam floor selector. The low/high beam selector is in other words just a signal rerouting device of the same signal, and the signal is the same before the floor switch no matter where is routed. The headlight doors are triggered before the floor switch, via the light green wire coming out from headlight switch. Source is spliced on kick panel area to the hideaways harness.
Doors in fact will work even without headlights installed/plugged! Try it.

I understand and believe you, but the doors remain open when the low beams are on and only close when I press the high beam on. Everything works normally without the new relay harness.
I tried moving the male portion of the harness (plugs into the old harness plugs that were plugged into the headlight bulbs) and the doors did not activate at all. The harness gets the signal from the passenger side of the old harness.

I just can think on a voltage feedback throught the relays

I just can think on a voltage feedback throught the relays Thanks anyway Nacho. At least It does what it's supposed to do. When I shut down the car, I simply switch over to high beam and shut off the headlight switch at the dash and the doors close. Not a big deal.

Have they gotten back with you on this issue? I just can think on a voltage feedback through the relays Perhaps something a properly placed diode might help?
