Its your car and all and I wish you the best of luck with the project but Why butcher up the car? Enjoy it for what it is and buy anouther one down the road some day the way you want it. After all if you stay in the hoby youl end up with anouther one sooner or latter its enevitable. Besides that the louvers are cool and they are unique too that year. If you have money problems buying anouther car, I got news for you this project is going too cost way more than anouther project car! Just trying too find let alone buy all the pieces parts Nacho has listed for you, good luck! especialy if you want too make it look nice and not like a hack job. And in the end you will have destroyed the car any ways as it wont be original. The 73-74 Chargers are climbing in value every day. Be happy with your car as is and fix the little problems that you have now that in itself is a major undertaking for most pepole.

Ok I'm pretty much in agreement with everyone here. DON'T DO IT. I think that in the end it will cost you more than you bargained for. And very possibly end up scraping your grandfathers car. My first charger that I had which was about 16 years ago I took on more than I could chew and ended up scraping the car. It took 16 years and finally I got another charger. My Car doesn't have the roll down rear quarters either and at first I was like you and wished I did but after adjusting to the difference I think that I perfer it this way. Have a look under members chargers mine is on page 10.
