#Bump# for the new members.
Bob started this thread almost 3 years ago, and Tom or I like to "drag it out" every year or so for the sake of the newer members....
In the interim many of the pics have a tendency to become "account inactive", etc.
So you "old-er timers" need to update your pics, too.
Just a note, this thread for some reason has a HUGE tendency to get train-wrecked (hi-jacked), at one time almost to the point of being locked!!
If it looks like it's "going south", the offending posts will simply be deleted, so that continuity is maintained, with no explanation to be given.
It's a great--and long running--thread...gives us all a better chance of getting to know each other.
[And yes, I did accidentally delete my post in it, as I was cleaning up train-wreck posts....I WILL be re-posting mine as soon as I can find a picture....]
ENJOY, EVERYONE !! #A_Toast# Jer.

Wow. This thread's a blast from the past!
Still no husband or kids to post about here - but those nieces and that nephew of mine are growing like weeds! The oldest just turned 13 at the end of March and the youngest is about to turn 5 on Thursday - doesn't even seem possible. I think this means I'm getting old. Right?

My Mom had one with a little seat on it, and a basket... You could rest your weary, ancient, decrepit, dilapidated old body on one of those, between the aisles at Walmart, Sarah. I do SO hate to see one of our Seniors in pain !!

Ooh! Sounds perfect. I DO get tired on the walk from one aisle to the next.

Great looking family, Gary....and my personal belief is that marriage (a good one) is way, WAY better than being single, any day of the week!!
I know of what I speak, Bro....I married my 1st sweetheart, right out of high school, and was a bona fide single man from the age of 28 (1983) until I was 50 (2005).....
My interim 22 years of "single-dom/bachelorhood" don't have a leg to stand on compared to the last 5 of married bliss!!
Again, good looking Tribe, there, Nukeem !!
I know you're proud !! #2Thumbs#
(And my personal heartfelt thanks for your service to our country!!) #YesNod# #YesNod#

Thank You Jer! very much on all counts and my pleasure serving this great country of ours!
The wife was 2 lockers from me all through school and we graduated with 32 classmates from a small Missouri town near St Louis. We both are very mild natured so makes everything easy. My oldest son has been in the Air Force a year this month. Very sharp kid. He got a "Secret blackbook" type job that he can not talk about. His 9 month training school included nuclear physics and quantum mechanics. If you google search "9S100" there is some basic info but not much. He is now at Patrick AFB Florida(Cape Canaveril), and this part is cool to us older guys...or just me. He works in the actual building that the AF guys in the "I dream of Jeanie" 60s/70s show worked in. Yup, proud dad here....and I don't have to feed that eating machine anymore! lol
